The luxurious Didima Camp, at Cathedral Peak, scheduled to open in December 2002, has been themed around the art of the San people.

The San Art Interpretive Centre, opening in 2003, will provide fascinating insights into the art and culture of the San and will include static displays and audio-visual presentations featuring a reconstructed cave covered with accurate reproductions of actual San Art.

The present resort was started by Jack and Heather van Rensburg in 1983. At present there are 16 self-catering thatched chalets and 56 electrified caravan/ tent sites. Guests enjoy the quaint restaurant Thyme @ the Berg with its festive pub. The now well-established gardens with the mountains as the view, entice folk to laze and relax!

The Ledges is a guest farm situated amongst the breathtaking mountains in the Northern Drakensburg with spectacular views of Cannibal Cave and Sugar Loaf and a river running just below the accommodation.

The Ledges caters for a variety of needs. The farmhouse and other self-catering cabins are fully equipped and furnished with antiques. The farmhouse can accomodate seven to eight people and has

5 chalets all fully equipped, meals available at the on site restaurant, quad bike track, walks.

The Homestead is a 24 roomed Guest Lodge in the Drakensberg, based on an English Country Inn. It has standard en-suite bedrooms and family units(two bedrooms with one bathroom)priced to suite the budget of the younger family, as well as air-conditioned de-luxe rooms.

Strawcroft cottage is situated in a quiet corner of a farm at the top of van Reenen’s Pass just 9Km off the N3. It overlooks Nelson’s Kop mountain and the Tandjesberg with the Wilge river in the valley below.

Strawcroft is built with wheat straw bales which is an eco-friendly resource.

Sungubala is a bush camp situated in the Northern Drakensberg of KwaZulu Natal. The camp is located up in the mountains and offers a unique mountain wilderness experience.

Royal Natal boasts some of the most splendid mountain scenery in Africa. The main feature is the world famous Amphitheatre, a rock wall approximately five km in length, and 500m high.

Above the amphitheatre is Mont-aux-Sources peak where, as its name implies, the Orange river starts its long journey to the Atlantic ocean and Thukela river cascades down the face of the amphitheatre, in one of the highest waterfalls in the world, on its way to the Indian ocean.

Bergvlei Cottage is a cosy, comfortable self-catering and/or Bed & Breakfast Cottage with a stunning view overlooking Bell Park Dam to the impressive Cathkin range of the Drakensberg Mountains. It has a large main bedroom with bath, toilet and basin en-suite.

Bahati Tree Lodge is built 2½ metres off the ground in a copse of trees, some of which actually grow through the house. The view from the open plan lounge/kitchen across the Bell Park Dam Valley is magnificent and lends itself to the peace and quiet of the area.
