There are two boat launch sites which are situated close to the campsite. Wildlife can be viewed. The campground is set at the waters edge on green lawns under a grove of acacia trees, the twenty sites are suitable for tents or caravans. The sites share one coldwater tap for drinking water and there are braai areas. Campers need to be self-sufficient as there is no firewood for sale. The ablution facilities have cold running water, flush toilets, showers and basins.
