There are few forest areas and the reserve is mostly of grassland. This is good horse riding country and horses may be hired for a few dollars a day.
Garden Castle is characterized by the many tarns that dot the area and is referred to as the Lake District. Bushmen painting sites abound in the area. Accommodation is in a camp site and 12 caves.
Bushman's Nek
This reserve offers trout fishing and the chance to see the rare lammergeyer and black eagle.
